Data Breach Management
We hope you never experience one, but in the event of a potential breach, this module will provide you with all the steps you need to take without missing anything, making it much easier to manage the process.
Adding a New Breach
Follow the steps below to add a new breach.
1. Click the "Add Breach" button from the menu on the left side.
2. Enter the organization for which the breach occurred, the "Name" and "Breach Type", the "Date of Occurrence", and the "Description", then click the "Save" button.
Breach Management
You can access the details of a breach by clicking its name in the breach list.
When you enter the breach details, you can view or change the current stage of the breach using the status progress bar. A comment is required for each status change. Written comments will appear in the activities section.
In the breach details, you can edit the breach, assign tasks, view the history of assigned tasks, comments, activities, and attachments.
If a notification is required for the breach, you need to click the "Bell" icon where it says "Notification Required".
To start the required timeline for the breach notification, you need to click the "Breach Confirmed" button and fill in the dates on the screen that appears.
