How to Add a New Process to the Data Inventory?
1. Accessing the Data Inventory
To add a new process to the data inventory, navigate to the data inventory module, then click the "Add New Process" button from the menu on the left side of the screen.
a. Responsible Person Information
After clicking the "Add New Process" button, you can enter the information of the person responsible for the relevant process on the screen that opens. When assigning the responsible personnel, you must first select the "Department" and then the "Personnel" within that department.
If the department you want to select is not in the opened department list, you can create a new department by following the steps below:
- "Click to add a department"
- "Create new"
- Department Name
- Parent Department (if applicable)
- "Save" After successfully creating the department, you can select the department you created from the "Click to add a department" section.
If the process responsible personnel information is not in the opened list, you can use the "Click to add/assign personnel to department" option. From the screen that opens, you can add personnel by filling in their identity, contact, and organization information, or you can assign an existing personnel to a department using the "Assign Personnel to Department" tab.
b. Process Inventory Information
After completing the department and personnel selection, click "Next Step" to proceed to the "Process Inventory Information" step. On the screen that opens:
- Process Name
- Description
- Data Subject
information must be entered. If the data subject you are looking for is not in the list, you can create a new person group using the "Create New Data Subject" button.
